Five dice, three rolls a turn, and thirteen boxes to fill as best you can. This is classic yatzy the way it's played around a kitchen table: keep the dice that help, roll the rest, then score a box — or cross one out. Thirteen rounds, and the total settles it.

A COMPUTER THAT ACTUALLY PLAYS

Three levels, three different games:
• EASY keeps the most frequent dice and takes the points in front of it.
• NORMAL computes the expected value of the next roll for every one of the 32 ways to hold your dice.
• RUTHLESS reasons over both remaining rolls and the value of every open box, bonus included. In simulated head-to-head games it beats the Easy level 80 to 95% of the time — and it plays without making you wait.

SIX PLAYERS, ONE PHONE

Pass and play, 2 to 6 players: the phone goes around the table, everyone plays their turn, and the score sheet does the bookkeeping. Player names are fully editable, and an interrupted game picks up exactly where it stopped, even after the app is closed.

THE SCORE SHEET, DONE PROPERLY

• The thirteen classic boxes: Aces through Sixes, Three of a kind, Four of a kind, Full house, Small straight, Large straight, Yam's — five of a kind — and Chance.
• The 35-point bonus at 63 in the upper section, with a no-bonus variant for those who play it that way.
• While you play, every combination still open shows the points it would actually score: you choose with the numbers in front of you.
• Any box can be crossed out for zero, just like on paper. Subtotals, bonus and totals add themselves up.

One honest note on the rules: this is the classic 13-box sheet — Full house 25, Small straight 30, Large straight 40, bonus 35. If the yatzy you grew up with is the 15-box Scandinavian sheet, with One pair, Two pairs and a 50-point bonus, you won't find those boxes here.

YOUR NUMBERS, YOUR PROGRESS

Your personal best sits on the home screen, a new record gets celebrated at the end of the game, and a statistics screen tracks what matters: games played, best game, average score, Yams rolled.

BUILT FOR PLAYING IN PEACE

• A felt table, a paper score sheet, big readable dice: nothing flashes, nothing nags.
• Held dice lift off the felt, so one glance tells you what stays and what rolls.
• Dice animation can be turned off; light, dark or system theme.

SIMPLE AND HONEST

• Works entirely offline — no account, no sign-up.
• No ads, no videos between turns, nothing to watch before you can keep playing.
• Your scores stay on your phone and nowhere else.
• Solo play and the Normal computer are included. A single one-time purchase — one payment, no subscription — unlocks pass and play, the Easy and Ruthless levels and the statistics, for good. A restore button brings the purchase back on a new phone.

And the name? Yam's is what this game is called in France, where this app was made. The same five dice go by yatzy in Northern Europe and generala in South America — thirteen turns, one sheet, and the small cruelty of crossing out a box when nothing will roll your way.

Roll. Hold. Roll again. Where you put the rest is up to you.
Offline yatzy: a 3-level computer opponent, 2–6 players, the full score sheet.
